Pastor Timothy (pictured here with his wife, daughter, and missionary Bill Shaw) recently graduated from our Bible school extension in Goma. Two years ago he planted a church to complete his pastoral training. He owned property in town where he had planned to build a family home, but decided to donate the land to the church instead. They have been meeting in tents (probably remaining from the refugee camps) and are already running over 300 on Sunday mornings. Once the congregation (pictured below) has built their own building, they will buy another piece of property for the pastor’s family.
